Gorakhpur Railway Apprentice Selection Process 2024
Method of Selection: A merit list will be used to determine which qualified applicants will be trained under the Apprentice Act of 1961. The candidates’ average percentage of marks from both the ITI exam and the matriculation exam (with a minimum of 50% cumulative marks) will be used to create this list. Both exams will have the same weight. Candidates may select from a variety of training units and locations. Candidates will be given their following selections if their merit standing prevents them from receiving their first option.
Those who have been provisionally selected for Document Verification will be contacted to proceed with the procedure in Gorakhpur after submitting their application forms. They need to provide four passport-sized photos, a copy of their online application, a medical certificate in the required format, and all of their original certifications and testimonies for verification during the verification process. The selected Division/Unit will be the starting point for the successful candidates’ training.
Training and Stipend: Upon registration with RDAT/Kanpur, the candidates’ training will adhere to the guidelines and curriculum set forth by the Central Apprenticeship Council. During their apprenticeship, the chosen candidates will be paid a stipend based on the established rates in compliance with current guidelines and directives.
