AR Humane Ground Age Restriction
The Assam Rifles (AR) will use the candidate’s Date of Birth entered in the AR Compassionate Ground online application form and the date on the Matriculation/Higher Examination Certificate to determine the candidate’s age. Any further requests for a change in date will not be taken into consideration or approved. The AR Compassionate Ground age restriction is;
- Minimum Age Required: – 18 Years
- Maximum Age Limit: – 23 Years
- Age Limit as on: – 01 January 2024
- Additional Age Relaxation as per Government Orders.

Qualifications for Compassionate Ground Recruitment with the Assam Rifles
General Duty
- Candidates should have passed 10th class from any recognized Board.
Personal Assistant
- Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (1 0+2) examination from recognized Board/University.
Draughtsman
- 10+2 or equivalent and 03 years Diploma in Architectural Assistantship.
Lineman Field
- 10th class pass from a recognised Board with Industrial Training Institute certificate in Electrician trade.
Recovery Veh Mech
- 10th class pass from a recognised Board with Industrial Training Institute certificate in Recovery Vehicle Mechanic or Recovery Vehicle Operator trade.
Plumber
- 10th class pass from a recognised Board with Industrial Training Institute certificate in Plumber trade.
X-Ray Assistant
- 10+2 pass with diploma in Radiology from a recognised Board or University.

Documents That Must Be Added to the Application Form
Enclosed with the application should be copies of the following certificates, duly attested by a Gazetted officer. It is not necessary to send original certifications with the application.
- Educational and Professional qualification certificates.
- Copy of Birth Certificate or Class 10th Certificate.
- Copy Aadhaar Card/ Other ID Card.
- Caste Certificate, if candidate belong to reserved category.
- Character Certificate issued by the Sarpanch/ Gazetted Officer.
- Residential Certificate duly signed by the ADM/ DM or Tehsildar.
- Copy of Experience Certificate, if any.
- Attach other necessary relevant documents with the application form.
General Conditions & Instructions
When sending the AR Compassionate Ground application form, candidates must clearly subscribe the words, “APPLICATION FOR COMPASSIONATE GROUND APPOINTMENT” on the top of the envelope.
- For the position, just one application needs to be submitted. If a candidate wishes to apply for more than one role, they must submit separate applications with a clear indication of the post they are seeking for.
- Candidates may only fill out the application in English.
- Complete every column on the application using capital and plain letters.
- Fill up the AR Compassionate Ground application form without cutting or overharvesting.
- Applications for AR Compassionate Ground that are incomplete, inaccurate, filled out incorrectly, overwritten, lack a signature, or lack a photo may be denied.
